1Malaysia Youth Entrepreneurs Club (1MYEC)

1MYEC is an establishment to champion the youth business community in Malaysia. 1MYEC provides a practical response to the urgent need for youth business opportunities and sustainable economic growth.

BACKGROUND
The idea was mooted by YBhg. Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, the Yang DiPertua (President) of Malay Chamber of Commerce of Selangor in 2009. A Protem Committee has been set up to facilitate the setting up and registration of the Council at Registrar of Youth Office, Ministry of Youth and Sports.

WHO MAY JOIN 1MYEC?
Membership is open to young businessman and businesswoman or professional, at the age 18 to 40 years, with a minimum qualification of Diploma, who seek for knowledge and willing to learn and expand their businesses through the real spirit of 1Malaysia. This means, 1MYEC is for every young Malaysians regardless of ethnicity, family background or social status.

OBJECTIVES
1) To develop and champion young and vibrant Entrepreneurs in various sectors to become successful through various activities.
2) To establish a high profile networking opportunities among Members and the entrepreneurial communities.
3) To emerge as a platform for the gathering of potential businessmen in various industries for greater co-operation.
4) To obtain and share new ideas from young entrepreneurs.
5) To establish as one-stop resources and information centre to the Members.
6)To promote, instill and encourage high business ethics, standards and practice amongst Members.
